1THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY 
  • MOVIE NIGHT: Saturday, June 6 from 6 - 8:15 pm
    • We will be screening the movie SELMAA chronicle of Martin Luther King  Jr''s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965.
    • Director:   

    • Run time: 128 minutes
    • Refreshments will be served.Bring your fiends and family

  • SUNDAY, June 7: SECOND SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

  • Entire month of June: We'll focus on Franciscan spirituality: Society of St. Francis, Third Order Franciscans
  • Time: 11:30 am to 12 pm in St. Joseph Hall

5.  SUMMER PARISH RUMMAGE SALE: June 27
  • Saturday, June 27 from 8 am to 3 pm
  • Setting up on Friday, June 26 from 10 am. 
  • Volunteers welcome and needed.

7 BISHOP SUFFRAGAN DIANE BRUCE'S VISIT TO ST. MARY
    • SaturdayJuly 11: 9 am to 8 pm:  Meetings with the Vestry
    • SundayJuly 12: Official visit to the parish. Bishop Diane will preside and preach and administer the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation if there are candidates.

1THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY 
  • FREE BILINGUAL DISASTER AWARENESS COURSE: Sat., May 30
    • Organised and sponsored by the Palms Emergency Preparedness Coalition (PePC) and taught by the Los Angeles Fire Department [LAFD]. Our parish is a member of this Coalition. 
    • Venue: The Palms Elementary School, corner of Motor Ave and Palms BlvdLos Angeles.  
    • Time: 12  to 2 pm. Bike Rodeo runs from 10 am to 2 pm.
    • Opportunity drawings will be made at the venue on the day of the event. Win a prize for your family and collect free materials.
    • Light refreshment will be served at no cost to participants. Spread the word and invite your friends.

  • Sunday, May 31: TRINITY SUNDAY

  • Sunday, May 17: The Seventh Sunday of Easter or the Sunday after Ascension Day
    • We extinguish the Paschal candle after the Gospel reading
