1. SATURDAY, AUGUST 27: From 6 - 8pm
- Week Five of our ALPHA program
- Meet in St. Joseph Hall

- SUNDAY, AUGUST 28: THE FIFTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST
- au re·voir service for Fr. Harold Anderson - moving to Temecula
- celebrating 95th birthday anniversary for Phyllis Thomas and 92nd birthday anniversary for Fr. Otto Harold Anderson.
- Join us for Mass and special coffee-hour
- Enjoy the summer break but also encourage your family and friends to come to church with you.
2. BIBLE STUDY:
- (English) Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 7: 30 pm at the church.
3. CLASSES IN CHRISTIAN FORMATION : SUNDAYS AT 11:30 AM to 12 PM
- Sunday, August 28: NO CLASS.
4. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT ST. MARY'S: someone with a passion for community organizational work:
- to assist Fr. Vincent in "mapping our neighborhood" and getting it ready to deal with emergencies in our community
- to assist with the leg-work in canvassing our neighborhood for the upcoming Saturday, October 8, Faris Neighborhood Block party,
- to assist with organizing a Health Fair for our neighborhood.
- Only a few volunteer hours a week needed.
- For students, a good opportunity to meet those important community service hours.For families, consider it a time to give something back to our lovely community.
