Here's what's making news THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY'S

1 SUNDAY, MARCH 12. THE SECOND SUNDAY IN LENT 
        • Please, invite your friends to church

2.   DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: BEGINS SUNDAY, March 12
      • Please, remember to move your clocks or time pieces FORWARD one hour before 2 am Sunday morning.
      • Please, spread the word 

3.   BIBLE STUDY: 
  • (English) Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the church.
  • We are currently studying the Letter of James
  • Join us if you can. We'll meet in the Sacristy

4.  CLASSES IN CHRISTIAN FORMATION : SUNDAY AT 11:30 AM to 12 PM
        • Sunday, March 12: "The Screwtape Letters": C. S. Lewis. Class will be taught by Debora Shuger, Ph.D. Get your copy of the book before class.
        • We'll meet in the Lady Chapel.

5.  UPCOMING EVENTS

      • LENT is always a good time to make sacramental confession. Please, call the office for an appointment for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
      • Except for any emergency, the next time the Sacrament of Baptism will be administered will be on Easter Sunday, April 16. If you know anyone needing this sacrament, have him/her call Fr. Vincent or Petra at the church office soon.

6.   OUR LENT MOVIE SERIES - SaturdayMarch 4 to April 8 from 6 - 8 pm
      • Saturday, March 11: Part One of "Forgiveness: A time to love and a time to hate"
        • Saturday, March 18: Part Two of  "Forgiveness: A time to love and a time to hate"
        • Saturday, March 25: INVICTUS
        • Saturday, April 1: The Runaway
        • Saturday, April 8: As we Forgive
      • All screenings will be in St. Joseph Hall at 3647 Watseka Ave.
      • Invite your friends to come watch these movies with you.
      • Free admission
