Here is what is making news in our parish:

1THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY 
  • SUNDAY, July 5: SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST


2.  SUNDAY, JULY 12: 
    • One service at 11 am
    • Bilingual Mass (English and Spanish)
3.  BISHOP SUFFRAGAN DIANE BRUCE'S VISIT TO ST. MARY
    • SaturdayJuly 11: 9 am to 8 pm:  Meetings with the Vestry
    • SundayJuly 12 at 11 am: Official visit to the parish. Bishop Diane will preside and preach and administer the Sacrament of Baptism.
    • If you have or know anyone desiring baptism, please, let Fr. Vincent know asap.
    • Invite your friends to church on Sunday, July 12.  
    • There will be a food sale to raise funds for the parish. Bring a dish to share if you can.
4.  SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST
    • Pray for the Rev. Canon. Cindy Voorhees and the congregation of the St. James the Great Episcopal Church, Newport Beach in search of a new home
    • visit their website  http://www.savesaintjamesthegreat.org/ and follow updates.

5.  BIBLE STUDY: Every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7: 30 pm. 
  • We meet in the Sacristy.
  • We are studying the Book of the Acts of the Apostles 
  • No experience necessary. 
  • Bring your Bible and your buddies.
 
6.   UPCOMING CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MATERIALS
  • Resumes on Sunday, July 19 with a study of the Lectionary Readings for July 26
  • Time: 11:30 am to 12 pm in St. Joseph Hall
