Here's what's happening THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY'S: 

1.  SUNDAY, APRIL 30. THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
  • Please, invite your friends to church

2.  CLASSES IN CHRISTIAN FORMATION : SUNDAY AT 11:30 AM to 12 PM
  • On Easter break. 

3.  UPCOMING EVENTS
  • Thursday, May 25: Ascension Day. Joint-Eucharistic service (at St. Mary's) with Grace Lutheran Church, Culver City. Service begins at 7 pm.
  • Sunday, May 28: Suffragan Bishop Diane Bruce will make an episcopal visit to our parish. 
    • One service for the day at 11:30 am
    • Bilingual Mass
    • Bishop Diane will preside and preach
    • Refreshment follows the service. Please, bring some food to share.
    • Invite your friends to church. 
  • Saturday, May 6 from 11 m to 3 pm: Palms Community Block Party

  • continued healing for Bishop Jon Bruno, Mary Bruno, Mary Jane, Diane, Gerda, Lyra, Jai Joseph, Anthony Joseph, Rose Quaye, Ben, Mauricio, Gloria, Carlos, Maria, Sr. Rosina, Edgar Weaver, Shola, Peter, Alexandra Brucoli, Christian Swayne, the Clergy and people of St. James the Great Episcopal Church, Newport Beach.
  • all who are grieving recent deaths in their family especially for Rev. Can. Michael Cunningham (spouse Deborah Dunn), Bob Adams (spouse Marilyn Adams) and Barbara Borsch (spouse Frederick Houk Borsch).
  • a holy death for Marilyn Carey. Pray for strength for Rev. Thomas Carey, Melinda Carey and the entire Carey family.
  • the repose of the souls of Marilyn Carey; Frederick Borsch, bishop; Deborah Dunn, priest; Marilyn McCord Adams, priest; Faustina Osakwe; Richard C. Hall, priest; Grace Brown; Jeff VanSlyke, Peter Flynn, Cynthia; Raul Rodriquez; Rauli Rodriquez.  May their souls rest in peace and rise in glory.
