Here's what's making news THIS WEEKEND  AT ST. MARY'S 

1SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: From 6 - 8pm
    • Week Six of our ALPHA program
    • Meet in St. Joseph Hall 
    • Talk to Kevin if you are interested
    • Food will be served.
  • SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4:  THE SIXTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST
    • Commemorating the first anniversary of the death of Fr. (Br) Derek Ford, SSF and remembering the life and witness of Br. Dunstan, SSF. 
    • Join us for Mass at 10 am and special coffee-hour
    • Enjoy the summer break but also encourage your family and friends to come to church with you.

2 BIBLE STUDY: 
    • (English) Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 7: 30 pm at the church.

3.  CLASSES IN CHRISTIAN FORMATION : SUNDAYS AT 11:30 AM to 12 PM
    • Sunday, September 4: How to write a COLLECT
    • Class will be taught by Debora Shuger, Ph.D

4.    VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT ST. MARY'S: someone with a passion for community organizational work: 
    • to assist Fr. Vincent in "mapping our neighborhood" and getting it ready to deal with emergencies in our community
    • to assist with the leg-work in canvassing our neighborhood for the upcoming Saturday, October 8, Faris Neighborhood Block party,
    • to assist with organizing a Health Fair for our neighborhood.
    • Only a few volunteer hours a week needed. 
    • For students, a good opportunity to meet those important community service hours.For families, consider it a time to give something back to our lovely community.
